Home Improvement Is One Of The Most Complained About Industries In America Today…

Why? Because Industry Standards Just Aren’t Good Enough…

Is it me, or does it seem like every Larry, Moe, and Curly, with a pickup truck and a ladder are calling themselves a home remodeler? No wonder why Home Improvement is one of the most complained about industries in the marketplace today… right up there with car dealerships, cell phone service providers, and cable TV.

The hard truth is that industry standards just aren’t good enough. It’s far too easy for less than reputable contractors to hide marginal work and call it good, or worse yet, cut corners to pad profits. Then, it’s even easier to change their business name when it gets too hot in the kitchen… so to speak.

Seriously, if you don’t think a less than reputable window replacement company in Dallas can’t simply shut down and re-open as a different window replacement company in Fort Worth, then you’re missing out.

Facts and figures don’t lie. According to the Better Business Bureau, general contractors received over 2 million inquiries in one year alone… which was a 71% increase over the year before. Even ABC News chimed in with an article that showed Home Improvement / Construction as the #2 most complained about industry… the only industry worse was the auto industry.

We aren’t telling you this to scare you. We’re telling you all this to convince you that industry standards just aren’t good enough so that you will do your due diligence when hiring any contractor… including us.

It’s why we created our own “contractor standards guide” or CSG and why we put it in writing.

In our guide, you will find everything you need to judge any contractor, including a handy checklist. Use the guide and checklist to determine if the contractor you are considering is worthy of entering and working on your home.
