Is it me, or does it seem like customer service in this country is getting worse? Well, if recent reports are to be believed… it actually is. In fact, in one report alone, over 56% of the people interviewed said they NEVER got a resolution to their problem… heck, they never even got an apology!
Customers are the lifeblood of any company. How long can you treat clients poorly before they get sick and tired of your shenanigans? Maybe it just has something to do with being a large, faceless corporation. I mean, just walk into any large "big-box" retailer and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. And heaven forbid you actually buy something and have it installed by them and have a problem…
The "big box" store tells you to call the installer—who is nothing more than a third party "faceless" vendor—who they contracted to install your purchase. So you call the installer who tells you to call the manufacturer who tells you to call the retailer. It's a circle and cycle of pure madness.
I don't get it. I can't fit that into my thought process.
